Technical University of Denmark offers 4 different Summer University courses in 2010:

Chemical & Biochemical Engineering: July 12th –July 31st
Tele communication, July 26th – August 13th
Arctic Technology, August 2nd – August 20th

The DTU Summer University Program offers courses with instruction entirely in English language for BSc students of engineering or related natural science programs. Foreign students from the EU and from DTU partner universities outside EU are invited to come to DTU for a 2-4 weeks period during which they will follow one of the offered DTU Summer University courses. After passing the course the student is awarded a certificate and ascribed 5 ECTS study credits, which may be transferred to the students current study program.

Students from our partner universities can attend the course for free – they only have to pay an accommodation fee for 200 Euro. However, DTU has a number of scholarships to cover cost of accommodation for DTU Summer University Students.

DTU also offers a 3 week Danish Language & Culture Course, August 1st – 21st. This is for Exchange- and MSc students accepted at DTU. More information can be found on our website: http://www.dtu.dk/English/education/Summer%20University/Danish%20Language%20and%20Culture.aspx

The DTU Summer University stay comprises:                                                                                           
·         Thoroughly prepared academic and scientific course contents
·         General information about DTU
·         Introduction to relevant sponsor companies
·         Welcome party for all Summer University students
·         Social events in an international atmosphere

To be accepted you need to fulfil the prerequisite requirements for the specific course you want to apply to. This information is found on the above mentioned link.
